By using a natural occuring Wnt inhibitor the research group has found additional support for the idea of treating malignant melanoma with a Wnt5a inhibitor, such as the company's Box5 peptide. This article was published in PLoS ONE 6, e18674, 2011.

A new article outlines a new Wnt-5a/cAMP/DARPP-32 mediated mechanism whereby Wnt-5a can inhibit breast cancer cell migration. This article was published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry 284, 27533-27543, 2009.

 A new Wnt-5a paper was published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry 284, 10968-10979, 2009.  This study demonstrates that Wnt-5a  effectively increases cell-cell interaction in breast epithelial cells.

A new article outlines a novel Wnt5a antagonist hexapeptide that antagonizes the promoting effect of Wnt5a on melanoma cell migration and invasion. This article was published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences 106, 19473-19478, 2009.

 A new Wnt-5a paper was published in Clinical Cancer Resarch 14, 6556-6563, 2008. This study demonstrates that the Wnt-5a mimicking peptide Foxy-5 effectively inhibits breast cancer metastasis to the lungs and the liver in a mouse model.
